The AFU General Staff confirmed an operation to reduce the Russian Federation's strike potential, during which Russian warplanes were struck at a remote airfield.

It is reported that on April 25, 2026, at the Shagol airfield, located in the Chelyabinsk region of the Russian Federation, units of the Unmanned Systems Force of the AFU hit several Su-57 fighter jets, as well as one Su-34 fighter-bomber.

It is noted that the objects were about 1,700 kilometers from the state border of Ukraine, which indicates a significant range of the operation. At the same time, the level of damage to aircraft is currently being clarified.
