The occupiers have dozens of such installations.
Ukrainian defenders from the 151st separate mechanized brigade have successfully destroyed one of the enemy's newest and rarest artillery systems. According to "Censor.NET", the operators managed to detect and hit the Russian 2S43 "Malva" wheeled SAU.
This unit is the Russian military-industrial complex's first attempt to create an analog of Western wheeled systems, such as the French CAESAR or Swedish Archer. "Malva" was officially transferred to Russian troops only in late 2023 or early 2024, making it an extremely rare target on the front.
According to analysts, the occupiers have only 20 to 40 of these units at their disposal.
To date, only 3 units of this equipment have been officially reported damaged or destroyed. The defeat by the 151st Brigade becomes the fourth confirmed case.
The estimated price of one unit is between 3.5 and 5 million dollars.
