Viktor Babariko Criticized "persons Who Earned Money On Helping Belarusians"

The ex-banker believes that some figures "became better off at the expense of Belarusians after 2020.

For the first time after his release, ex-banker and presidential contender Viktor Babariko met with Belarusians. For this purpose, he flew to Vilnius from Berlin, where he now lives.

At the meeting, which took place in the Belarusian center "Castle," Babariko answered a question about the state of Belarusian emigration:

- Unfortunately, after 2020, an amazing phenomenon happened: in fact, Belarusians and Belarus lost, while someone gained from it. Somebody became better off than they were then at the expense of Belarusians in comparison with 2020.

And this discrepancy in assessment - conscious and unconscious - probably generates internal discomfort among Belarusians. That is, yes, it seems to be necessary to build something to help those who feel bad. But when you build it and you feel good yourself, you don't feel the pain that other people feel so keenly.

Viktor Babariko believes that some politicians only cover themselves with words about "working in the interests of Belarus":

- Everything depends on what goal (the real goal, not in words, but in deeds) the one who says he works in the interests of Belarus has. And this should be watched very carefully.

If you simply analyze it according to this principle: take any person - in 2020 and in 2026. If this person has a better life in 2026, it is one option. And if it became worse in 2026 or is not as comfortable as it was in 2020, then it will really do something to make it better, to get back what it was in 2020.
