According to eyewitnesses quoted by the media, the fire broke out in the evening of May 12 on the territory of the cultural and entertainment complex "Kremlin in Izmailovo".

The fire allegedly spread on the roof of one of the administrative buildings. The total area of the fire reached 200 square meters, after which the fire expanded to 1,000 square meters.

The Moscow Emergency Situations Ministry said the blaze occurred in a metal-frame structure on Vernisazhnaya Street.

At the same time, RosSMI "Beware of Moscow" writes that according to their data, the fire started in the technical room of quests, which is located next to the museum complex. Preliminary, the cause of the fire was a short circuit and faulty wiring.

According to the latest information, so far 5 people have been rescued in the fire on the territory of the Kremlin. More than 100 people and 30 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
