Minsk Has Prepared 20 Beaches For Summer Recreation

Where can you swim in season?

The swimming season in Belarus is officially open, despite the cool weather and rain. Responsible services have already been brought to full readiness. In Minsk, 20 beaches on four reservoirs have been prepared for vacationers, says STV.

Beaches for summer recreation are located on Zaslavski and Tsnyanski reservoirs, as well as in the recreation areas "Krinitsa" and "Drozdy. Every year the coastal areas are renovated to make the rest of Minsk citizens and guests of the city as comfortable as possible.

To protect vacationers, specialists of the sanitary service regularly take water samples for the presence of bacteria and microorganisms. As explained by the hygienist of Minsk zonal center of hygiene and epidemiology Nikita Roslik, not only water is examined. According to the specialist, they also look at the condition of toilets, benches, changing rooms, playgrounds and general cleanliness of the territory.

According to the doctor, all recreation areas of Minsk district, approved by the district executive committee, are now kept in a satisfactory sanitary condition. Despite this, the control of water samples will continue.

Special attention will be paid this year to the beach № 5 at the reservoir Drozdy. According to the deputy director of the UE "Minsk forest park management" Anastasia Dragun, there will be new objects of improvement: convenient tiled paths, a separate photo zone. There will also be four container sites for garbage, six improved shade shelters and 14 shower stands.
