Girkin Admired Ukraine's Strategy After Moscow Strike

Two of Russia's serious problems have been exposed.

Imprisoned war criminal and terrorist Igor Strelkov (Girkin) has sharply criticized the Russian military leadership and actually acknowledged the effectiveness of the Ukrainian strategy in the war.

In a Telegram post published on May 18, Girkin commented on the large-scale Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow, calling it an expected development.

In his opinion, this strike demonstrated two serious problems for Russia at once: the inability of the air defense system to fully protect the Moscow agglomeration and the noticeable strengthening of Ukraine's strike potential.

Strelkov said that Kiev has already made significant progress in the field of drone technology and is gradually gaining an advantage over Russia in this area. Moreover, he believes that this gap will only widen.

He said that the Ukrainian side over the past two years has consistently implemented a strategy aimed at creating superiority in unmanned aerial vehicles and achieving parity in missile capabilities.

Separately, Strelkov noted that such results were the result of competent strategic planning and professional approach of the Ukrainian command. Against this background, he criticized Russian leaders, saying he could not say the same about the level of competence of the command in Moscow.
