US Wants To Buy Ukrainian Drones And Air Defense Systems

Bloomberg has learned the details of the negotiations.

The United States is in talks with Ukraine regarding the testing and possible acquisition of Ukrainian drones and REB systems, as well as access to certain military technologies. This is reported by Bloomberg.

According to the publication, the Pentagon has already asked to test a number of Ukrainian defense developments on US territory. We are talking about drones and REB systems that were battle-tested during the war against Russia.

Bloomberg sources say that Washington is also interested in access to certain technologies and intellectual property rights as part of a future agreement that is still under discussion.

While negotiating with the US, Ukraine claimed that its technologies have already proven effective in real combat conditions. It is thanks to the development of drones and new tactics that the Defense Forces have been able to strike targets deep inside Russian territory and deter superior Russian forces.

The source said, however, that the U.S. wants to evaluate the products on its own territory using its own forces before moving forward.

The publication's sources noted that the U.S. may be particularly interested in AI-based terminal guidance technologies, GPS-free navigation, jam-resistant communication channels, and in the combat doctrine itself - We seek mutually beneficial cooperation that will strengthen our armed forces.
