With the efforts of US President Donald Trump, the White House is preparing for a major transformation and turning into a defense fortress. The US leader announced the creation of a special port for drones right on the roof of the historic building.

Trump proudly showed journalists the construction site of the ballroom, which has already begun to be added to the White House. He called the new ballroom "something incredible," but luxury is not the point here. The structure, according to the president, will act as a battle shield.

"On the roof we're going to have the biggest drone empire you've ever seen," Trump said.

Of course, journalists wanted to know more, because they were interested in the details of the defense. Trump was intrigued by the answer and said the most important facilities are hidden from view.

"The bottom of the ballroom is much more complex than the top," he explained.

Trump said there are super important facilities underneath the building that he can't say. The president emphasized the importance of hidden infrastructure:

"You don't see the floors that are down here. And there are very, very important rooms down there, very, very, very important rooms. It was the only opportunity for the military to do anything."

Trump, however, focused separately on the characteristics of the facility:

"The drone-proof roof, again, everything is sealed, and all of this stuff that you see is completely sealed, and we use it as a drone port, you can have unlimited drones down there, and drones are what's going on right now."
