Chinese Supertankers Have Passed Through The Strait Of Hormuz

Two Chinese supertankers carrying 4 million barrels of Iraqi oil have passed through the Strait of Hormuz for the first time in a long time. It came amid optimistic statements from Trump and Vance about the proximity of a deal with Iran.

What Trump and Vance said
Trump said the war would end "very quickly" and acknowledged Monday he was "an hour away from a decision to attack" but stopped after a new Iranian proposal.
"Iranian leaders are begging for a deal," the president said, adding that a new strike would come in a few days if there was no agreement.
Vice President Vance said at a White House briefing that the United States was in a "pretty good position." He acknowledged the difficulty of negotiations because of the split in the Iranian leadership.
Tankers and Markets
Two Chinese supertankers Yuan Gui Yang and Ocean Lily carrying 4 million barrels of Iraqi oil have left through the strait on the Iranian route.
Brent crude oil fell to $110.16 a barrel after positive signals.
