US President Donald Trump has pledged his immense popularity in Israel.

Talking on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, he noted that the latter is underestimated in the country as the head of a wartime government

Trump also pointed out to reporters that he received a poll, which showed his high popularity among Israelis

"My support in Israel is 99 percent, so maybe when I'm done [being US president], I'll run for prime minister of Israel," he added.
