Within the framework of the exercise dedicated to the use and support of nuclear weapons, one of the missile units of Belarus occupied a pre-designated area and practiced actions on its protection, defense and support, the Defense Ministry reported.

According to the report, the calculations made preparations to receive "special munitions" for the Iskander-M operational-tactical complex and load them on carriers. After that, the missiles were moved to another area with camouflage, where the unit simulated missile launches at suspected targets.

The aviation also took part in the exercise: the crews conducted combat training sorties, practiced the conditional use of air defeat devices and returned to their bases after completing their tasks.

On the Russian side, as part of the joint exercise, actions were practiced to bring nuclear-weapons-related units to the highest levels of combat readiness.
