The musician's wife noted that she does not yet know what claims have arisen against her husband.

Belarusian Rada of Culture in February 2023 wrote that Khlestov was included in the list of 87 groups and artists, whose songs are forbidden to perform in Belarus. Presumably, it was compiled by the KGB and handed over to state agencies involved in the organization of concerts.
