UAVs Flew 1,600 Kilometers And Re-attacked A Military Chemical Plant In Russia's Perm Region

On the night of Saturday, May 23, Ukrainian long-range UAVs flew 1,600 kilometers and attacked the Metafrax chemical plant in Russia's Perm region, which produces components for explosives. This is what Dialog.UA writes after monitoring social networks.
Drones "visited" a strategic facility in the Perm region in the early morning of May 23. Residents of the town of Gubakha heard several strong explosions. It is claimed that the Metafrax chemical plant came under aerial attack.
Photographs and video prove that the facilities of this Russian region were indeed attacked by long-range UAVs. The video is published by Telegram channel Exilenova+.
Governor of Perm Krai Dmitri Makhonin confirmed that drones attacked a strategic site on May 23. He said Russian air defense allegedly "shot down several UAVs on the approach to the industrial facility." He added that operational services are working on the site. At which specific "place," the governor did not specify.
The Russian Metafrax plant produces components for explosives, so it is a legitimate target for the AFU. Previously, the AFU has already struck it several times. For example, on February 17 and March 11, 2026. It is alleged that the drones then damaged installations for the production of urea (a component for artillery shells and mines) and ammonia (used in the manufacture of explosives). It should be noted that tonight the AFU also launched an air strike on the Grushovaya oil terminal in Novorossiysk. Russian oil is exported through this terminal and the money received for it is used to continue the war against Ukraine.
