Russia Hit Oreshnik With Kinetic Warheads At Airfield In Kiev Region

The first in the history of the war hit "Oreshnik" on the capital region confirmed the speaker of the AFU.

On Friday night to Saturday, Russia launched a strike on the town of Bila Tserkva in the Kiev region with an RS-26 Rubezh ("Oreshnik") medium-range ballistic missile with kinetic warheads, RBC-Ukraine speaker of the AFU Air Force Yury Ignat.

The Oreshnik strike was earlier reported by monitoring Telegram channels with reference to videos that appeared on the Internet. The published footage shows the characteristic moment of the arrival of the "Oreshnik" with the separation of military units capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

The belief about the "Oreshnik" strike with kinetic warheads was also confirmed on the air of the Breakfest Show by the founder of the investigative group Conflict Intelligence Team Ruslan Leviev. According to him, the strike could have targeted a major transportation airfield.
