Zelensky called Russian authorities "inadequate" after Oreshnik hit Kievshchyna.
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky has reacted to Russia's overnight massive strike. The key target of the aggressor was Kiev and the region, where the use of Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile was recorded.
Zelensky published a statement on the matter in his official account in Facebook.
According to the Ukrainian president, more than 80 people were injured in the Russian attack. There are also fatalities. The Russians this time used about 90 missiles of different types, including "Oreshnik" against Ukraine. 36 missiles were ballistic missiles. Not all of them were intercepted. Also, about 600 kamikaze drones were recorded in Ukrainian airspace.
"Putin can't even pronounce the word 'hurrah' properly anymore, he can't even pronounce the word 'hurrah', he's shaking, but he's still defeating residential buildings with his missiles," the Ukrainian president said.
According to him, among the targets of the Russians at night were high-rise buildings, schools, a market, and a water supply facility. "Oreshnik" was used on the town of Bila Tserkva. "Really inadequate," Zelensky wrote.
He emphasized that the aggressor must bear the consequences. The Ukrainian president called on the United States, Europe, and the entire civilized world to increase pressure on Moscow.
