This is the first time since World War II that the building has been damaged by combat operations

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry building suffered minor damage during today's massive Russian attack on Kiev.

The building was reported by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

Sibiga noted that this unique architectural heritage, built by Joseph Langbard in 1939, was damaged by the fighting for the first time since World War II.

"Looking at the broken windows this morning, I can state with full confidence on behalf of our entire diplomatic team: the Russian terrorists will not make us stop," the minister emphasized.

He said that Ukrainian diplomacy will continue to effectively fulfill its tasks, resist Russian aggression and bring peace closer.

"It is also important to note that the Russian strikes were aimed at the historical area, the very center of ancient Rus. another proof that we are dealing with hordes of barbarians, not heirs of civilization," Sibiga stressed.
