Canada joins the fray.
Building up export opportunities, Canada plans to replace Russian gas on the world market with blue fuel of its own production.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said this while commenting on the construction of a new liquefied natural gas export terminal on the country's west coast, "Ukrinform".
"Yes," he said when asked whether Canadian gas would replace Russian gas.
He said Canada is one of the solutions to energy security in Europe and Asia. "The new terminal will contribute to Germany's energy security and there is still a lot we can do in partnership with Europe," the prime minister said.
