The AFU Took Foreigners From 48 Countries Captive

Many foreigners are recruited to the war by the Russian Federation through deception.

Hundreds of foreigners from more than 48 countries are currently being held in Ukrainian captivity, who were attracted to the war by Russia through deception and financial manipulation. This was reported by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that Ukraine has created a special information resource designed to reveal the large-scale Russian system of recruiting citizens of other countries to fight.

The new online platform stoprussianrecruiters.org contains detailed data on the geography and hidden mechanisms of Russian recruiters.

It also publishes information on specific individuals acting in the interests of the Kremlin in different parts of the world.

"Russia is increasingly attracting citizens of other states to the war: migrant workers, the unemployed, representatives of socially vulnerable population groups from Asia, Africa and Latin America," the Foreign Ministry stressed.

The diplomats said that the launch of this project will draw the attention of the international community, warn potential victims of deception and contribute to bringing to justice all those involved in sending people to their deaths.

In the framework of the state project of the Coordination Headquarters "I want to live", the project is currently being implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. According to verified data, at least 5,149 of them have already died on the battlefield.
