The occupiers were given a surprise right at the entrance to the port.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the Defense Forces hit two Russian oil tankers in the waters of the port of Novorossiysk, which were used to transport oil.

This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to Zelensky's message in Telegram.

According to him, these vessels belonged to the so-called "shadow fleet" of the Russian Federation and were actively used for oil transportation.

"Our warriors continue to apply sanctions against the Russian shadow oil fleet - they hit two such vessels in the waters of the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk," the Ukrainian president said.

He thanked the Chief of the General Staff of the AFU Andriy Gnatov, the counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Navy for conducting the operation.

"Ukrainian long-range capabilities will be comprehensively developed - at sea, in the sky and on land. Glory to Ukraine," Zelensky summarized.
