The propaganda has a "not-so-clear" record.

War criminal and Z-patriot Igor Strelkov (Girkin) confirmed Ukraine's information regarding the strike on the college in Starobelsk. It was not a civilian object. This is stated in his letter published on his personal channel in Telegram on May 30, reports Dialog.UA.

Strelkov admitted, though without details, that the college in Starobelsk was used by Russia for military purposes from the very beginning of the war.

"The impression of the raid on Starobelsk and the "retaliatory strike" on Kiev is still quite fresh. I will not comment on the first one, as I strongly suspect (and not only suspect) that everything is not so clean there. In the fall of 2023, I even drove past this college several times when I was sort of a member of the 1st Slavyansk Brigade and tried to be at the front as part of it," wrote Z-Patriot.

The Kremlin used the attack on the college in Starobelsk to justify its "retaliatory strike" on Kiev with a "Oreshnik" missile.

According to the Ukrainian side, the headquarters of the Rubicon drone unit of the Russian Armed Forces was actually hit.
