Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky reacted to the Defense Forces' defeat of an oil refinery in Russia's Saratov on the night of May 31. "This is an important result," Zelensky said.

"Our warriors applied Ukraine's long-range sanctions against an oil refinery in Russian Saratov - it's about 700 kilometers from the front line," Zelensky said. And he added that there were also defeats at other facilities of the aggressor state - in particular, in Rostov, Kirov regions and at a military base on the Caspian Sea.

"During this week, targets were also achieved in Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Voronezh, Volgograd, Rostov, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar regions at distances from 300 to 1,200 kilometers from our state border," Zelensky recalled.
