Time For Pashinyan To Laugh At Lukashenko

  • 4.05.2026, 15:02

Armenia's prime minister has gathered more prominent politicians in one day than a dictator does in six months.

"Salidarnasts" studied the schedule of Alexander Lukashenko's meetings and compared them with the delegation that traveled to Yerevan for the European Political Community summit.

So, Nikol Pashinyan, who is the host of the summit, has arrived:

French President Emmanuel Macron,

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen,

President of the European Council Antonio Costa,

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas,

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer,

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni,

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney,

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky

and other politicians.

What about Alexander Lukashenko? The lover of teasing Pashinyan at every opportunity is quietly smoking in the sidelines. The Belarusian ruler is not invited to such events. And, to put it mildly, such people do not go to him.

Just look at the schedule of visits to Lukashenko. Not even for a month, for six months (!):

Meeting with the Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Kenya Amazon Jeff Kingi (December 9, 2025),

Meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi (December 15, 2025.),

Meeting with the Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov (February 5),

Meeting with the President of the Senate of Zimbabwe Mabel Memorial Chinomona (February 19),

Meeting with the Secretary General of the CSTO Talatbek Masadykov (April 6).

And some guests from Russia. Well, how "a little":

Meeting with the Governor of the Rostov region of Russia Yuri Slyusar (November 17, 2025),

Meeting with the Governor of the Yaroslavl region of Russia Mikhail Evraev (November 24, 2025),

Meeting with the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin (December 11, 2025).),

Meeting with Governor of Russia's Kirov region Alexander Sokolov (January 19)

Meeting with State Secretary of the Union State Sergey Glazyev (February 16)

Meeting with Governor of Russia's Murmansk region Andrey Chibis (March 2),

Meeting with Governor of the Ryazan region of the Russian Federation Pavel Malkov (March 16),

Meeting with Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous District Vladislav Kuznetsov (March 30).

There were also several meetings with the American delegation. However, as we know, the U.S. representatives headed by John Cole went to Minsk not out of great respect for Alexander Grigorievich, but to negotiate the release of hostages of the Belarusian regime.

And so, of course, yes, we can make fun of the Armenian leader for his unwillingness to come to Minsk or for shaving off his beard. But so far, the Belarusian ruler can give Pashinyan a head start only in the lushness of the mustache.
