Russia Has Moved To Legalize Internet Donations

Kremlin create a network of "student cyberdrugs."
The Russian government has approved a large-scale plan to "combat destructive youth behavior" until 2030. The vague wording about "safety" as the goal of these innovations hides another tightening of control over the activity of citizens online.
This is stated in a report by the Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation.
The document, which includes 41 measures, provides for total monitoring of the Internet space for young people. A key tool will be the creation of a network of "cyber-squads" and "media patrols," in which students themselves will be forcibly or "semi-voluntarily" involved. In fact, the government will legalize the institution of Internet donors, where young people, under the supervision of educational authorities, will be required to monitor the content and "unreliable" publications of their peers.
"The Russian authorities are taking another step towards turning the Internet into an isolated environment under the complete control of the special services. The Kremlin clearly understands that in today's realities, control over information flows is control over the consciousness of citizens," the CPD writes.
Because the blocking strategy failed to completely block the younger generation's access to alternative sources of information, the emphasis is now on internal oversight and the creation of an atmosphere of constant surveillance.
