Polish visa centers have launched the VFS Global mobile application for making an appointment to apply for a visa, the company said in VFS Global.

The appointment process is the same as on the website. But the app offers advanced functionality for entering passport details. They are scanned from the passport photo or read from the biometric passport chip using NFC technology on compatible mobile devices.

The mobile app is available for download in the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices and is available in three language versions.

VFS Global also said it is not responsible for the use of intermediaries and unofficial software, and advised applicants to use the official VFS website and/or app exclusively.
