  • 7.05.2026, 9:28

Even Fitzo refused to go to the propaganda event.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will be joined by several foreign guests, including Belarusian dictator Lukashenko, for a parade in Moscow on May 9.

The announced participants include Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev, the so-called president of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, and Milorad Dodik, leader of the Union of Independent Social Democrats party in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Republika Srpska. Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo, who was supposed to be the parade's chief guest, said he would fly to Moscow but would not come to Red Square.

Lately, the May 9 parade, where Lukashenko has to fly, has become a real ordeal for the dictator. He twice became ill during events on Red Square - in 2023 and 2024.

This time, the parade in Moscow involves another danger - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukrainian drones could fly into the Russian capital on May 9.
