Poland And Lithuania Have Worked Out The "Orsha" Plan

The Lithuanian and Polish militaries held joint exercises to defend the Suvalki corridor - a strategic section on the border of Lithuania, Poland and Belarus. According to the press service of the Lithuanian president, the maneuvers were dedicated to practicing actions in case of possible threats in the region.
The defense plan was named "Orsha" - in honor of the Battle of Orsha in 1514, in which the combined forces of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland under the command of Hetman Konstantin Ostrozhsky defeated the Moscow army.
The "Brave Gryphon - 26" exercise was held from April 30 to May 7. They were observed by the presidents of Lithuania and Poland - Gitanas Nauseda and Karol Nawrocki.
Commenting on the maneuvers, the Lithuanian leader said that, as at the time of the Battle of Orsha, the Lithuanian and Polish militaries are ready to jointly confront threats from the eastern direction.
