Explosions in Grozny

The published videos show that there were two explosions in the city. As it became known, one of the explosions occurred near a military base in the former settlement of Khankala, the other near the new train station in Grozny, which opened a year ago.

One of the videos shows an explosion near a building next to the hourglass-shaped sculpture "Center of Peace" at the entrance to Grozny, which was installed in 2022.

This square is located on the territory of the former settlement of Khankala, about a kilometer away from it is a military base opened in 2000, which is called the "main military base" of Kadyrov's terrorists. In 2022, Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov, who visited the base during reconstruction work, called it "one of the best places for military personnel."

Another video shows an explosion near a house opposite Grozny's train station, which is located in the city center, less than 2 km from the terrorist ringleader's residence and about 1.2 km from Grozny City. The FSB directorate building is 500 meters from the site of the explosion.

The NIYSO also reported the downing of one of the drones on Visayetova Street, which is located about 1.5 km from the hourglass sculpture. According to the channel, this drone was heading towards the building of the Chechen FSSB, showing a response video of the building being hit.

The odostrone Russian ceasefire went into effect at midnight. The Kremlin regime and for the fourth time in the last three days announced the so-called "ceasefire" on the eve of May 9.
