The Pentagon Has Released "classified Material"

The UFO archives have been made available to the public.

The Pentagon on Friday released a package of documents that the agency says were not previously available to the public and contain UFO data. The disclosure of the materials came after US President Donald Trump ordered the US government to begin declassifying information on unidentified phenomena, writes CNN (translated by Charter97.org).

The Pentagon said citizens can now access declassified materials on "unidentified anomalous phenomena," the modern term for UFOs. The public access includes videos, photos and documents collected by various federal agencies.

The Pentagon said the publication will continue. New material is scheduled to be posted regularly as it is discovered and declassified.

Interest in the topic intensified in February following statements by former U.S. President Barack Obama, who said on a podcast that "aliens are real" but later clarified that he had seen no evidence of their contact with humanity.

Afterward, Donald Trump ordered a process to begin disclosing government records related to UFOs and possible extraterrestrial life.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman supported the initiative, saying the agency is committed to honestly reporting what is known and what remains to be explored. Exploring space and finding answers about the universe remain NASA's key mission, he said.
