A reaction appeared in Peskov's performance.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov decided to react to the permission of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to hold a parade in Moscow on May 9.
This was reported by Charter97.org with reference to Russian media.
"We do not need anyone's permission. Woe to anyone who tries to tease over 'victory day' and make such silly jokes. That's probably more his great misfortune. And we don't need anyone's permission to be proud of our 'victory day'," Peskov said.
He also added that extending the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine until May 11 is an initiative of US President Donald Trump.
