It became known how many enemy targets were shot down by Ukrainian air defense.

On the night of May 9, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 43 attack drones, despite the truce announced earlier. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the enemy drones.

This was reported by Telegram of the AFU Air Force.

From evening to morning, the Russians attacked with Iskander-M ballistic missile from Crimea and 43 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and Parody imitation drones from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo - RF.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, REB and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Preliminary data, as of 08:00, the air defense shot down/suppressed 34 enemy drones of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody imitation drones in the south, north, and east of the country.

A missile hit and 9 attack drones were recorded at 6 locations, and downed (debris) at 2 locations.
