Ending the war as soon as possible is a direct order of the President of Ukraine. And ending hostilities before winter is a realistic goal.

The head of the President's Office Kirill Budanov said this at the international forum "Security Architecture," according to the correspondent of RBC-Ukraine.

"I confirm, it is in fact his attempts - to end hostilities as soon as possible, preferably before winter. And I, as the head of the Office of the President, will definitely do everything to achieve the goal that the president has set. In my opinion, it is absolutely correct, timely and well thought out," Budanov said.

According to him, Ukraine has sufficient capabilities to try to put this plan into practice.

"And if Russia refuses on the final - it can also be so, don't forget. However, now there are real signs that the grounds for cessation of hostilities already exist," he emphasized.
