Europe Will Develop A Patriot-equivalent System For Ukraine

The United Kingdom, Germany, and France intend to help Ukraine develop its own missile defense system, which could eventually serve as a European alternative to the U.S. Patriot systems.

According to The Telegraph, NATO countries are discussing the development of a new missile defense system amid a shortage of PAC-3 interceptor missiles.

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the issue of creating a European anti-ballistic system was discussed during talks with Keir Starmer, Friedrich Merz and Emmanuel Macron.


According to Zelenskyy, the new system is critically necessary for Ukraine, but also for its European partners.
