The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck port infrastructure targets in occupied Mariupol, which is used by Russian troops for logistical support in southern Ukraine.

As reported by the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine “Azov,” the operation was conducted jointly with units of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBS).

As a result of the attack, critical port infrastructure facilities were struck. Damage was inflicted on power substations, radar equipment, repair infrastructure, the control tower, and fuel and lubricant storage tanks.

It is also known that the dry cargo ship Lady Augusta, which is subject to sanctions and is used as part of Russia’s “shadow fleet,” was struck.

Azov stated that following the strike, the port was completely without power, and there is currently no possibility of using it for military purposes.
