U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about a previously unknown U.S. operation in the Strait of Hormuz. The American leader claims that in May, the U.S. military ensured the safe passage of more than 200 oil tankers, demonstrating Washington’s control over the strategically important waterway.

The White House chief wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.

According to Trump, thanks to the U.S. operation, tankers transported over 100 million barrels of oil through the strait.

The U.S. president emphasized that the success of this operation was made possible by the fact that the Strait of Hormuz is controlled by U.S. forces, not Iran. Summing up his remarks, the American leader once again declared Iran’s defeat.


“Their army is crushed, and their economy is ruined. It’s all over for Iran!” the American leader declared.
