Crimea is completely cut off from the mainland of Ukraine for the occupying forces.
On the night of June 11, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on the bridge across the Crimean Canal in occupied Armiansk. Special Kherson Cat wrote about this on his social media account X.
Residents of occupied Armiansk heard explosions at approximately 1:57 a.m. It was reported that a vehicle bridge was hit, resulting in damage.
Additionally, according to preliminary information, the bridge at the entrance to Krasnoperekopsk from the direction of Armiansk was also damaged.
Prior to this, on June 9 and 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched missile strikes on the Chongar Bridge and on the bridge from the temporarily occupied Henichesk to the Arabat Spit.
This means that there are no intact bridges left at the land entry points to the annexed Crimea.
In May of this year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an operation to block Russian occupiers in annexed Crimea. To this end, missile and drone strikes are being carried out on bridges, as well as on the highway connecting Russia (Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog) with the peninsula (via the occupied cities of Mariupol, Berdyansk, Melitopol, and Dzhankoy). The blockade of the land corridor to annexed Crimea is proceeding successfully.
The commander of the Russian Federation’s occupying army’s “East” military group was forced to ban the movement of military cargo transport on the Mariupol–Berdyansk – Melitopol – Simferopol route in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
