The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has revealed the aftermath of the nighttime attack.
On the night of June 12, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck two oil refineries in Tatarstan, a plant in Togliatti, and enemy command posts and logistics facilities.
This was reported by the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to reports, Defense Forces units in the Republic of Tatarstan struck the TANECO and TAIF-NK oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk.
The destruction of the targets and fires on the premises of both facilities have been confirmed.
The TANECO oil refinery complex is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in the Russian Federation. Its design refining capacity exceeds 16 million tons of oil per year.
The facility produces a wide range of fuels and lubricants, including diesel fuel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products.
TAIF-NK is a large oil refining complex distinguished by its exceptionally high depth of oil refining (after the launch
the Heavy Residue Deep Refining Complex—this figure is reported at over 95%). The facility processes heavy high-sulfur crude oil and gas condensate.
The plant’s products are distributed across several key segments—from bulk fuel to specialized feedstocks for petrochemicals and military needs.
The Togliattikauchuk plant in the Samara Region has also been hit; it specializes in the production of synthetic rubbers (which, in particular, are used in the further production of solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles), monomers, fractions, and high-octane gasoline additives.
The strike on the target and a fire on the plant’s premises have been confirmed.
In addition, the occupiers’ command and observation posts in the Obesty and Iskra districts of the Kursk Region of the Russian Federation and in the Marinsky district of the Kherson Region were struck.
Strikes were also carried out against enemy command posts in the Voskresenka and Pokrovsk areas and an enemy communications hub in the Veselyi area of the Donetsk region.
Among other things, Ukrainian troops struck an area where enemy personnel were concentrated at the “Vostochny” training ground in the Novopetrovka area of the Zaporizhzhia region.
A field artillery depot in the Rybiancevo area of the Luhansk region and an enemy logistics depot in Mariupol, Donetsk region, were also struck.
Furthermore, based on updated data regarding the Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation, which was struck on June 10, 2026, it has been confirmed that the primary oil refining units AVT-4 and AVT-5 primary oil refining units and the RVS-2000 tank. The plant has ceased operations.
As a reminder, reports circulated online today that in the Russian city of Togliatti the "Tolyattikauchuk" chemical plant caught fire following a drone attack. A drone threat alert was declared in the Samara Region, and airspace was closed.
