Not Shoigu, And Not Belousov: Who Could Lead A Revolt In Russia

The combat commander made an unexpected prediction.
European intelligence believes that Russia’s former defense minister Sergei Shoigu, who is now Secretary of the Security Council, is plotting a coup. However, he is actually despised within the military, so he cannot lead an uprising.
Nor is the current head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov, capable of doing so. Deputy Commander of the "Freedom of Russia" Legion Maximilian Andronnikov, call sign "Caesar," stated Channel 24 that the mutiny could be started by senior lieutenants, majors, and lieutenant colonels—that is, individuals who are not as deeply embedded in Putin’s system.
Who could start a rebellion?
Maximilian Andronnikov noted that Shoigu is despised in the Russian army. And this is true at all levels: from enlisted personnel and junior officers all the way up to generals.
The fact is that Shoigu never served a single day in the army; he is a firefighter. His real career ascent began after he actively supported the suppression of the 1993 uprising in Moscow—the so-called anti-Yeltsin revolt. It was suppressed by gunfire. Even then, it was clear that there would be no democracy in Russia.
Shoigu is despised for issuing completely inappropriate orders that do not correspond to the current situation, for his lies, total corruption, and cronyism. After all, without connections to his clan, no one can build a career.
“He is also despised for oppressing genuine combat generals. These are Ivan Popov and Mikhail Teplinsky, who also stole, but significantly less, delivered results on the battlefield, and cared about the lives of their subordinates. They honestly reported that there were problems with personnel replenishment and rotations, and said that there was a shortage of ammunition. Shoigu repressed all these generals,” explained the deputy commander of the “Freedom of Russia” Legion.
According to him, Andrei Belousov is treated more favorably in the Russian army. But he is still considered an outsider, a man outside the system. And appointing a smart combat general to these positions—that doesn’t happen in the Russian armed forces. After all, anyone with a rank higher than major must be able to steal successfully. Generals such as Alexander Lebed and Lev Rokhlin, who were a mortal threat to the regime, were killed.
“Shoigu certainly cannot lead a mutiny. Nor can any of the generals do so, because it is deadly dangerous for them. But I believe that a mutiny will happen sooner or later. It will be started by senior lieutenants, majors, and lieutenant colonels. That is, people who aren’t so deeply embedded in Putin’s system, people who, at their core, still possess a sense of honor, duty, Christian conscience, and service to their people—not to a dictatorship,” “Caesar” suggested.
