But something went wrong.
Three graduates of Minsk universities found a way to avoid being assigned to a job. Over time, it became clear that the employment was actually fictitious—the case went to court. Details reported by the prosecutor’s office.
It is reported that after completing their training, the graduates were assigned to an organization in Minsk that helped them avoid working. The young specialists did not actually start working and did not receive a salary, but throughout the entire period of fictitious employment, the organization systematically paid mandatory insurance contributions for them to the Social Security Fund.
The prosecutor’s office reports that for this fictitious employment, the young people paid the director of this company for two years.
The damage to the state caused by the graduates’ actions is estimated at more than 95,000 rubles. Criminal cases have been initiated against the young professionals for causing property damage without signs of theft (Part 2 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
The prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit on behalf of the state: during the period of fictitious employment, insurance contributions were paid to the Social Insurance Fund, and this period was included in their work history, which may affect the amount of their future pensions. The court ruled that the young people’s employment contracts were invalid, and the decision has taken effect.
