Mádyár Claimed To Have Exposed A "high-profile Scandal" Involving The Orbán Government

"Old-school" politicians will no longer be able to represent Hungarians.

Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar, who took office in May 2026, stated that on Saturday, June 13, he would reveal a “high-profile scandal” involving the government of Viktor Orbán.

The Hungarian prime minister wrote about this on his account on the social network X.

Magyar claims that his new information will nullify the decisions of the FIDESZ – Hungarian Civic Alliance party, whose next congress is scheduled for June 13. He did not go into details.

It should be noted that FIDESZ plans to re-elect Viktor Orbán as chairman of the party at the convention.

In April of this year, parliamentary elections were held in Hungary, which were won by the opposition party “Tisza,” led by Péter Magyar. As a result, Orbán was forced to step down as prime minister, and the previously ruling Fidesz party found itself in opposition. Magyar became the new Hungarian prime minister in his place.
