Z-propaganda Has Begun Preparing Russians For The Failure Of The War Against Ukraine

The Kremlin is preparing excuses.

Russian Z-propagandists have begun publicly discussing options for ending the war in Ukraine—without achieving the objectives previously announced by the Kremlin leadership. Journalist Denis Kazansky discussed this in his new video, analyzing recent broadcasts by Russian media and bloggers, writes “Dialog”.

According to him, popular Russian propagandists are gradually shifting from the rhetoric of “victory at any cost” to preparing Russian society for a compromise with Kyiv and a freeze on hostilities along the front lines.

In particular, the host of Channel One Anatoly Kuzichev stated that without a new large-scale mobilization, Russia will not be able to capture even those Ukrainian regions that Moscow had previously illegally declared as its own and enshrined in the Constitution. According to him, further advances by the Russian Armed Forces would require sacrifices that Russian society may not be ready for.

Another Russian propagandist Ivan Pankin raised the possibility of halting hostilities along the current line of contact—an option that official Kyiv has mentioned on multiple occasions. Previously, however, such scenarios were deemed unacceptable on Russian media, and the Kremlin, led by dictator Vladimir Putin, has dismissed them outright.

Kazansky noted that such statements indicate that the Russian audience is being prepared for the failure of the so-called “special military operation” and the abandonment of the war’s original objectives. According to him, propagandists are already crafting explanations under which any decision by the Kremlin will be presented as “the best for the country.”
