The SBU has revealed details of the attack on the Russian capital.
As a result of the strike in the area of the Moscow Oil Refinery, a massive fire broke out. According to preliminary information, a key primary oil refining unit—which is the “heart” of the plant—has been damaged.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
The SBU emphasized that they attacked the plant while carrying out tasks set by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
“This is Moscow’s largest oil refinery. The facility supplies a significant portion of the Russian capital’s fuel market, providing key volumes of gasoline and over 50% of the region’s diesel fuel, as well as fuel for Moscow’s airports,” the SBU statement said.
In addition, Ukrainian drones attacked the infrastructure of the Poltavskaya oil depot in the Krasnodar Krai. A fire also broke out there.
