The President of Ukraine announced a "just response."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described a massive strike by Ukrainian drones on Moscow a “just response” to Russian attacks. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.
“Last night, our long-range strikes once again reached the Moscow region: the Moscow oil refinery was hit for the second time this week. Targets in the Rostov region and in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were also struck. This is a completely just response to Russian strikes on our cities and communities and yet another important result of our soldiers’ efforts against facilities that support the Russian war machine,” — reads Zelenskyy’s post on Telegram.
He added that “it is time to end this war, and Russia must take the necessary diplomatic steps.”
On the night of and morning of June 18, nearly 200 Ukrainian drones attacked Moscow and the Moscow region. This is the largest attack on the Russian capital since the start of the full-scale war.
