Former Storm Z Fighter Predicted A "hot Summer And Fall" For Russian Federation

The coming months will be extremely tense for Russia.

Against the background of the recent successes of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, Russia seems to have lost the opportunity to achieve a freezing of the front at the current line of contact. This opinion was expressed on June 2 in his Telegram channel by Russian writer Daniil Tulenkov, who previously served in the Storm Z unit.

In his assessment, the next stage of a possible negotiation process between Kiev and Moscow could be a discussion of a return to the 1991 borders. At the same time, Tulenkov believes that Russian society is not yet psychologically ready to accept such a scenario, and the Kremlin is unable to even consider such conditions publicly.

The writer predicts that the coming months will be extremely tense for Russia. According to him, in the summer and fall Ukraine will continue to increase pressure through long-range strikes, forming a demand inside Russia to end the war regardless of the conditions.

Tulenkov also admitted that substantive discussions about a return to the 1991 borders may begin closer to the end of 2026. In his opinion, the real prerequisites for Russia's withdrawal from the war will appear only when society accepts the inevitability of a complete withdrawal of troops from the territory of Ukraine and comes to terms with this fact.
