U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the Strait of Hormuz is “fully open” and that on June 21, more oil passed through it than ever before.

This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a broadcast from the White House.

During a press briefing, the U.S. leader said that “things are going well for us” regarding the Strait.

“Yesterday, more oil passed through it than ever before. You can probably see that we have a real oil fountain. The strait is fully open. You know that. We’re in negotiations; we’ll see how it all turns out,” Trump said.

He then added again that the strait is open and also emphasized that there is now a country that “will never get nuclear weapons” (referring to Iran).
