What is known about the fire

According to preliminary reports, the strike may have hit a combined heat and power plant in the Arshintsevo area of Kerch.

The monitoring group reports that a fire at the thermal power plant has been confirmed. According to available information, a projectile struck a storage tank.

Satellite imagery also shows a plume of smoke approximately 47 kilometers long.

Where the power was cut off

Meanwhile, the occupying authorities cited “technical malfunctions in the power grids” as the reason for the power outage.

Krasnoperekopsk;

Dzhankoy;

Krasnoperekopsk District;

Saki District;

Dzhankoy District;

Krasnogvardeisky District.

“Krymenergo” stated that emergency repair work is ongoing. They promise to restore power within 24 hours.
