Two female passengers from Belarus were arrested for disruptive behavior during a flight from Warsaw to Chania and for assaulting a police officer.
This was reported by Ekathimerini.
The two women, aged 45 and 47, began shouting and smoking on board the plane—which is strictly prohibited—and refused to cooperate with the crew.
When the plane landed at Chania International Airport on Crete, they were detained, and one of them kicked a police officer who was handcuffing her, causing him to suffer a broken leg.
The police officer was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
