On the night of June 26, drones attacked the temporarily occupied Crimea. A series of explosions was heard in the Kerch area, and UAVs were detected near the Kerch ferry crossing. This was reported by local Telegram channels and monitoring services.

Following the series of explosions, residents of Kerch reported a strong smell of burning that could be detected throughout the city.

As of this morning, no official information had been released regarding the consequences of the attack, possible damage, or casualties. Monitoring resources continue to track the situation on the temporarily occupied peninsula.

The NASA FIRMS service is also is detecting a fire in the area where the “Pantsir-S1” air defense systems are deployed and near the airfield.
