Britain Will Provide $1 Billion For Ukraine's Reconstruction

The United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with $1 billion as part of a $4 billion World Bank loan. This was announced in a press release issued on behalf of British Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy.

“Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy announced that the United Kingdom will provide $1 billion in funding to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience and support its recovery,” Lammy’s statement reads.

It is specified that the funds will be channeled through the World Bank as part of a larger aid package designed to support hospitals, educational institutions, and essential public services throughout the country.

According to the press release, this funding will also help attract private investment, sustain economic growth, and create new skilled jobs.
