Ukrainian Air Defense Forces Shot Down All Of Russia's Ballistic Missiles

On the night of June 28, the Russian Armed Forces fired two “Zircon”/“Onyx" anti-ship missiles at Ukraine from the Kursk region and six "Iskander-M"/S-400 ballistic missiles from the Bryansk region. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
In addition, Russian forces carried out strikes using 142 drones of various types.
During the attack, Ukrainian air defenses shot down or intercepted all six “Iskander-M”/S-400 ballistic missiles, one “Zircon”/“Onyx” anti-ship missile, and 125 enemy UAVs.
In total, a missile strike and 14 attack UAVs were recorded at 11 locations, and debris from downed aircraft fell at 13 locations, according to a statement from the Ukrainian Air Force.
Attack on Kyiv: Details
One person was injured as a result of the enemy’s nighttime attack on the capital, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported. The injured person was hospitalized.
In the city’s Darnytskyi district, a garage bay and vehicles in an open area totaling 300 square meters caught fire as a result of overnight enemy shelling, according to the State Emergency Service.
At another location, bomb disposal experts, together with the National Police’s explosive ordnance disposal unit, recovered the warhead and safe debris from a Russian missile.
Police specified that the missile’s warhead fell near a residential high-rise building. Residents of the building were promptly evacuated, and the dangerous object was carefully extracted from the ground and transported to a specialized disposal site for further destruction.
