Peskov: Lukashenko Did Not Pass On Any Messages From Zelenskyy

The Kremlin stated that channels of dialogue with Kyiv should remain closed.

Lukashenko did not convey any message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to President Putin.

This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov

Putin’s press secretary answered “No” when asked whether Lukashenko serves as an informal channel of communication with Kyiv. Peskov stated that channels for dialogue with Kyiv must remain closed.

At the same time, the Kremlin representative said that the topic of Ukraine “was touched upon in an informal conversation between Putin and Lukashenko.”

On June 26, it was reported that Lukashenko had arrived at Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s residence in Valdai. No statements were made to the media following the meeting.

On June 29, dictator Lukashenko, after meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, traveled to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
